AI've been living the KETO lifestyle for about a month, and doing a ton of reading. I wish I had started here. I am a 45 year old man, and I started at 238 lbs. After a couple of weeks of trying to go all crazy strict KETO, I dropped about 12 lbs. I realize that was mostly water weight caused by my high carb intake, but it was awesome all the same. Then I hit a wall. Boom! No weight loss to speak of for almost two weeks. I was frustrated, agrivated and constipated. Nothing that ends in "ated" sounds good to me. Anyhow, I read this book this morning. It is an inspiring book from a real life success story, and is full of common sense ideas to help someone like me, and probably you, since you are reading this, to keep you motivated, and help you make the move to a realistically sustainable lifestyle change that promises a healthier and happier you. It's a fairly quick read, but I got as much from this book as from a month of reading and research. It's light on the "scientifical" stuff, but full of insight. This is a MINI Keto guide- I read the entire thing in less than an hour...Having researched and followed Keto for a month via experience, reading, videos, internet searches and Keto Bloggers, I can honestly say there was not a single fact, opinion or piece of advice I hadn't heard or read before. I really liked this book because I FINALLY found an author who basically gives me permission to shop at regular grocery stores! I was so discouraged reading other keto books because of the extreme focus on how "pure" the food must be. With a husband and five children I simply cannot afford to shop at the boutique markets. Very easy to understand and fun to read. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book. I wanted to try the keto diet, but was put off by the thought of earing a lot of fat, and having to stick to limits of fat, protein and carbs. This books takes all of the anxiety and work out if it. It is an enjoyable read and I highly recommend it for anyone considering the keto diet.

I find many keto dieters and keto experts to be judgmental and rigid. This book was a refreshing and much needed change from the usual keto book. The book offers a kinder, gentler keto diet. The author understands that people have different needs and may require some "crutches" in some parts of their journey. I tend to feel deprived and back slide on diets that require food journaling and strict rules. She gives a lot of really good advice to keep on a keto inspired diet but in a way that allows some freedoms and adjustments for budget, individual tastes and/or dietary needs. An added bonus is that the author has a great sense of humor and the book is very readable. This is a must read book!

Love this book! THe author has a simple approach and explains it with a sense of humor. She states she is not an expert or professional, but she HAS lost 140 pounds! This book is so helpful from understanding the concept, shopping, menus and she does it in an easy to understand approach and you want to embrace it and start right away!

This is just what I was looking for...a guide to help me learn about Keto and at the same time, allow me to find a way to modify it more to work for myself...very easy guide to understand and learn about Keto. Written by someone who has walked the walk! Love it!

I just finished reading the Stamp’s story. It is a story like no other that I have heard. Regardless of what side of medicine you choose to support, traditional or non-traditional, do yourself a favor and take the time to read this moving account. If nothing else, it will give you the determination and willpower to fight. We have been created with ‘eternity in our hearts’ (Eccl. 3:11) and this heartwarming account bears this out. The Stamps are a true inspiration.

I loved this book! Having lost my mother and mother in law to cancer I know the sad truth of conventional treatment. This is such good information to have knowing that we will most all be affected by this horrible disease. Us or our loved one. I believe we must build our bodies up to repel all illnesses. Thank you Rodney and Paige for giving us a look at what you went through. This is good information.

You know how you find a book that you can’t put down until you’re done reading the whole thing?? This is one of those books! Such an amazing story that is truly inspirational. I definitely recommend that everyone should read it.

This book is fantastic. From the first page to the last. Having been recently diagnosed with cancer I can relate to the fear and need to find cures that dont include chemo. Very helpful information and guides to let your body do its job. Paige you are an amazing partner and so brave. If my husband was here to support me I am sure he would be doing the same thing you do. It’s important to have someone there for support encoragement and love. I can’t wait for the additional books you are publishing. The how tos are important when searching the internet is frustrating and misleading. Lots of snake oil for sale and everyone has a friend who was cured by something. Proven help from a real person who is willing to share the journey for those of us looking for answers. Thank you. May you have a long and blessed cancer free future.

The determination and sheer will to thrive (not just survive) the authors have in this book was so relatable, I could not put it down. Finished it in a few hours and will read it again if my will ever wavers. Nothing they did was easy as far as surviving the disease, and they built an empire while doing it! This and the love they have for each other is just rare. I will be sharing this book with others too.

This book is so awesome. I enjoyed reading it. In fact I couldn’t put it down. I have never had cancer but I would like to protect myself from ever getting it because so many of my loved ones have passed away as they lost their battles with cancer. This book pulled at my heart strings from the first paragraph and did not let them go til the last one! Rodney took you right along with him on his full journey with him when he felt he first lump to the first doctor appointment and so on. We get to be a fly on the wall.This is why I highly suggest this book to anyone that was just diagnosed with cancer or someone going through it. This book has a ton of great educational information, books and Doctors referenced that could be very beneficial to many people. Not to mention he gives you personal stories of his treatment that he opted to do. He is an extremely brave man to go through the ones he discusses in the book! I don’t think I would have the stomach for either! My heart goes out to you Paige!I was very fascinated reading about the Essiac Tea chapter as I am a huge fan of Tea. The fact that this tea could be a treatment for Cancer patients is amazing. The medical community just fascinates me. This isn’t just about his medical diagnosis. This effects his whole life. You will read all about that.Plus, you will read Paige’s side of the story and how she recalls how they met and fell in love. They are blessed to have found each other and have each other through this!In the book there is a beautiful picture of Rodney and Paige.Being a reader and their daughter Jessika being a reader as well I thought it was funny when they would ground her to her room. She would just go up there and curl up and read a good book. Instead, they had to tell her not to go and read a book for pleasure until her punishment was up. Now to me that would be punishment enough!At the end of the book you will read stories from two Enzyme Treatment Testimonials from two cancer heroes.

About the Author

Alexander Hamilton was born in the West Indies in 1757, the illegitimate child of a Scottish merchant. He came to the American colonies to study at King’s College (now Columbia University), and became an early and ardent supporter of the Revolutionary cause. During the Revolutionary War he was aide-de-camp to George Washington and a member of the Continental Congress. He was a leading figure at the Constitutional Convention (1787) and a principal author of The Federalist Papers. At first Secretary of the Treasury he articulated a policy of protection for manufacturing interests, strong central government, and establishment of a national bank. After leaving the Cabinet, he practiced law in New York. His personal attacks hindered the political career of the volatile Aaron Burr, who finally challenged him to a duel in 1804. Hamilton was shot, and died of his wounds.John Jay (1747-1829) was a conservative lawyer who became a leading patriot. He was a minister to Spain (1780-82), the first Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court (1789-95), and he negotiated the treaty of 1795 between the U.S. and Britain. His contributions to The Federalist Papers concern foreign affairs.James Madison was born in 1751, the son of a Virginia planter. He worked for the Revolutionary cause as a member of the Continental Congress and the Virginia House of Delegates. The leader of deliberations at the Constitutional Convention, he fought for the adoption of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Through an ally of Hamilton on the Constitution he was a supporter of Jefferson’s agrarian policies. I guess I’m a little confused. There are supposed to be 85 essays in the Federalist but this book only has 18. I don’t see a description of the book that warns of this. Am I missing something? The introduction talks about all 85 essays as if they are all in this publication. Nothing in the product discription warns that this publication only contains an abreviated list of the essays.

It should be noted this does not include ALL of the Federalist Papers. It is a selected few, which I didn't notice when I bought it. I wanted them all sor study purposes, so I got another paperback with all 86 papers for 1/2 the price at a bookstore.

In the description it says, "This book features edited highlights of the essays". This isn't the case for the hard copy edition. It doesn't even have half of the papers in this edition. Returned

Most books with the Federalist Papers that I could find only had a selection of them included. This book contains all 85 and also lists who wrote them and when they were published (if that information is available). It also has a fairly decent Table of Contents so you can easily find the paper you're looking for. The constitution is also included at the beginning which some people might find handy. Overall exactly what I was looking for. Would buy again.

All such books contain the accurate text of the papers themselves, but this book contains so much more, and eliminates the need for the many additional books it would take to complete one's understanding of this priceless reference to the Supreme Law of the American Nation, our Constitution.The Introduction by Charles Kessler is 25 pages and a terrific read in itself. In this introduction he puts the Federalist into the context of the history then and its significance now. He also helps to explain the overall scheme of the papers, as well as important, general themes, and points to significant numbers and passages in support of the overall scheme and important general themes. Add 22 pages of Précis, a short summary of each of the 85 papers, which gives every reader a good idea of the contents of every paper, and a better basis for understanding the contents and overall frame of Publius' arguments.Also in this amazing reference book are copies of the Articles of Confederation, the Declaration, and the Constitution. Furthermore, the copy of the Constitution is collated with the Federalist Papers; the corresponding page number of the passage in the Federalist is shown in the margin, next to the related passage in the Constitution. This is another benefit to a more thorough understanding of the Federalist Papers. This is an incomplete set of the Federalist Papers. Only 18 are included with a superficial set of introductions. Looks nice on the cover but not what it claims.These were selected and edited by R. B. Bernstein, which is not obvious from the presentation.
