I enjoyed the book, but since I have been researching various facets of the material presented in this book for well over 30 years, nothing new, FOR ME, was discovered here.Nevertheless, still a fascinating read. And it still sits on my special bookshelf for special books.Arrived quickly and well packaged.

Learning a lot about Freemasons. My son likes illuminati because of nonsense YouTube videos. I got him this and read it first, turns out they are a pretty good organization. Nice, light read.

Found this to be somewhat accurate and very entertaining. A good read and fair in their conclusion s. I am a Mason, so I enjoyed the book even when they were off the mark. Nothing revealed that couldn't be found by most people with a little effort.

Very basic and gives much incite into things that are not always explained fully. I have been a Mason for 6 years and found it to be a guide for much understanding.

Bought this for my dad who has been in the Shriners for the majority of his life. He really enjoyed the read; therefore, I would recommend this as a gift for a Shriner/Freemason.

The secret society of the Free Masons is truly amazing. I found this book to be enlightening and we'll written.

While my (advanced) reading kindergartener "can" read this on his own, we make it a family affair! The Bird & Squirrel books are HILARIOUS! The sound effects in these books are what got my little guy reading in the first place. What kid doesn't want to sound out "BONK!" and "Zooooooooooom!"?? The graphics are bright and appealing, and we find ourselves belly laughing as a family. Thank you for writing a FUN, CLEAN, and well written graphic series for our little guy! Please keep writing! We can't get enough! I know that our son's Bird & Squirrel series will be a set that sits on the shelves in our home (or his) forever. It's what he grabs when riding in the car, sitting at the table eating breakfast, or curled up on the couch. The. Best.

It's my mission in life to be more like Bird! Get it for any kid 4 years old through 5th grade! I find it hilarious as a mom and teacher!!

We've been waiting for a new Bird and Squirrel for a long time and this one was as great as all the others!

{My thoughts} – So much adventure and so many things to be scared about. Red is Squirrel’s wife. We met her in the last book. At the end of the last book we were introduced to their daughter Birdie. Yes, she is named after Bird.Red has to make a delivery that will keep her gone for a couple of days. Squirrel is left home to take care of their daughter. Bird visits and gets Birdie all excited about going on an adventure to find Bigfeet. This is after Squirrel had already told his daughter they were going to stay inside.They do go on an adventure to look for Bigfeet, but they don’t exactly find him or her. They do find all kinds of other things that are fun, but Squirrel is so scared of everything that he attempts to push those fears on everyone around him. It’s one of those interesting concepts when you really think about it. Push the fear on another, get them to believe it and not be afraid of things alone. The only problem is that Bird and Birdie aren’t really afraid of anything.I really liked this book. It showed so many great friendship type things. It also showed the relationship between a father and daughter. The relationship between n uncle and niece. I enjoy when things unravel and a lot has unraveled in this series. I wouldn’t have imagined the author was going to bring it to where it is now, but I absolutely love that he did. This has been a really fun series to read and I hope there will be more books added to it in the future.

Great info, accurately presented, and fun to read as well? What more could you want?If you buy it digitally for Apple ibooks, you will be able to zoom in on the diagrams, which I found very helpful. I bought it in paper and then digitally as well.A terrific book!

In my opinion a good book must be informative and it needs to keep your interest. This book does both. 90 percent of this book is illustrated with cartoon figures with arrows pointing to all the details (actually more detailed that a photo could be). At first glance you might think this book doesn't offer much in the way of knowledge. Nothing could be farther from the truth. This is one of the best books I have read. It is the type of book that you will refer to often and should be read by anyone looking to venture onto glaciers. Nice job guys.

I'm an instructor for the High Altitude Mountaineering School of the Colorado Mountain Club, and this book is our bible. It covers pretty much everything relevant to staying safe on a glaciated alpine mountain and features very instructive and entertaining illustrations.

Informative and with very helpful illustrations. I found this more useful than "Freedom of the Hills" or the other "Glacier Travel and Crevasse Rescue" book from the Mountaineers. If you had to pick one book, go with this one, but if it's your first time on a glacier I'd recommend reading all the material you can or even taking a class.

Freedom of the hills is a great end-all-be-all reference book. But chances are you're not going to do any big wall climbing in the same weekend as some glacier mountaineering so it is a little daunting. However if you're already familiar with climbing basics, then this book is the absolute best for glacier travel. The illustrations are detailed, entertaining, and easy to read. The text is not overly wordy and transitions well from subject to subject. I have 3 books that cover this subject, and this is by far my favorite one.

Fun way to get through some serious topics. I read it on my phone which was better than expected vs kindle or computer.

I needed a book that would become the standard resource for teaching glacier travel in my club's winter mountaineering schools. The techniques here are brilliantly illustrated and explained! However, the book failed to meet my main expectation due to personal disagreement with some (a very minor but crucial part) of the techniques presented. I cannot teach others what I do not believe myself.

The book appears a little cheesy on the cover but it really is'nt. This book is perfect for someone who is new to mountaineering and wants to learn more about glacier travel. Filled with tons of useful information and the cheesy cartoons do an excellent job of simplifying and explaining technical terrain in a way that makes it very understandable. I have already recommended it to several friends who have purchased it and also liked it.

This is more like a herbal guide, easy to read and straight to the point, and you can tell that author did sufficient amount of research on each herb suggested in this book ( It doesn't only suggest herbs )I use it every now and then to check whether the herb is useful for me or not, the side effects, whether it is known to be contaminated or not, etc.. it is a comprehensive book and I highly recommend it for men, and even women :)

Now this is doable! An informative book on herbs and health that doesn't leave you with an "Oh no! Now where do I start" feeling when you finish the book.It's nice to know that a few herbs can cover a multitude of symptoms. And it's nice to hear that you don't have to live on them all the time.Thank you.
